Select Committee on Connecticut's Sustainable and Renewable Energy

Select Committee on Connecticut's Sustainable and Renewable Energy. For the 2023 regular session, there is established a House select committee on Connecticut's sustainable and renewable energy. The select committee shall consist of the following members: Two appointed by the speaker of the House and two appointed by the minority leader. The speaker of the House and the minority leader shall select the chairpersons of the select committee from among the members of the committee. The chairpersons shall schedule the first meeting of the select committee and the select committee shall meet as necessary. The select committee may submit proposals for legislation to the appropriate joint standing committees of the General Assembly.
