AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF DISTANCE LEARNING BY SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
To (1) ensure that school districts are provided a uniform set of standards in order to deliver education to students in a distance learning environment and to require a review of how these standards are being met; (2) accommodate students with 504 plans and IEPs; (3) allow school districts to designate a certain number of snow days with and without remote learning in order to enable the districts to maintain flexibility in providing educational needs to students and families; and (4) require teacher training in remote and distance learning at no cost to towns.
