RESOLUTION AMENDING THE JOINT RULES CONCERNING THE ONLINE AVAILABILITY OF LENGTHY PROPOSED LEGISLATION PRIOR TO IT BEING TAKEN UP BY EITHER CHAMBER.
To increase transparency by giving legislators and the public sufficient time to read lengthy bills by requiring lengthy legislation to be posted online within certain specified time periods before being acted upon by either chamber.
