AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT PARITY FOR PODIATRISTS.
To prohibit a health carrier that delivers, issues for delivery, renews, amends or continues an individual or group health insurance policy in this state from paying a reduced reimbursement to a licensed health care provider who provides a covered benefit within such provider's scope of practice solely because such provider is a podiatrist.
