AN ACT CONCERNING THE PAYMENT OF FINANCIAL RESTITUTION BY A PERSON WHO CAUSES THE DEATH OF ANOTHER PERSON WHILE OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF AN INTOXICATING LIQUOR OR DRUG.
To permit a court to order that impaired drivers who cause the death of another person pay restitution in the form of child support to the surviving spouse or other relative of the deceased victim until the children of such victim are eighteen years of age.
