AN ACT CONCERNING OVERSIGHT OF HOTELS, MOTELS AND INNS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PREVENTING AND COMBATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
To require the Department of Consumer Protection to (1) oversee hotels, motels and inns for the purpose of preventing and combating human trafficking, and (2) impose a civil penalty on the owner of any hotel, motel or inn that fails to adhere to any applicable law or regulation intended to prevent or combat human trafficking in hotels, motels and inns.
