AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR CERTAIN SURGICAL PROCEDURES PERFORMED TO TREAT SEVERE OBESITY.
To require that individual and group health insurance policies provide coverage for certain surgical procedures performed to treat severe obesity, including, but not limited to, gastric bypass surgery, sleeve gastrectomy and duodenal switch surgery.
