AN ACT REQUIRING PHARMACISTS TO INFORM PATIENTS AND HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS REGARDING THE LEAST EXPENSIVE MEDICATION OPTION.
To require pharmacists to inform each patient and the patient's prescribing practitioner regarding the least expensive option for a medication or class of medicine that has been prescribed by the prescribing practitioner and the out-of-pocket cost of such medication or class of medicine if purchased without insurance.
