AN ACT CONCERNING THE REGULATION, OPERATION AND TAXATION OF DISCOUNT RETAILERS.
To (1) define "discount retailers", (2) authorize the adoption of municipal zoning regulations concerning discount retailers, (3) establish parity between discount retailers and grocery stores, and (4) authorize municipalities to impose an excise tax on discount retailers.
