AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH TO CREATE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE DISPARITIES IN BIRTH OUTCOMES FOR BLACK WOMEN.

To improve maternal health outcomes for black women by requiring the establishment of educational programs and initiatives to address the underlying causes of birth outcome disparities in the black community.
