AN ACT CONCERNING A POLICE OFFICER'S ABILITY TO REQUEST CONSENT TO SEARCH A MOTOR VEHICLE.
To allow police officers the ability to request consent to search a motor vehicle in order to take illegal weapons and drugs off the street, as well as assist in collecting evidence of a crime.
