AN ACT CONCERNING ABLE ACCOUNTS.
To: (1) Require the State Treasurer to designate a director of outreach for the ABLE program; (2) authorize a tax deduction against the personal income tax for contributions made by certain individuals into ABLE accounts; (3) authorize a tax credit against the corporation business tax and personal income tax for contributions made by taxpayers into the ABLE accounts of employees; and (4) exempt ABLE accounts from certain claims by the state against the estates of Medicaid beneficiaries.
