AN ACT AUTHORIZING LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES TO HOLD CERTAIN UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS PURSUANT TO AN ICE DETAINER REQUEST.
To authorize state and local law enforcement agencies to hold an undocumented immigrant pursuant to an ICE detainer request, up to forty-eight hours, and without a judicial warrant, when such person has been charged with a class A, B or C felony or crime of family violence.
