AN ACT CONCERNING MINIMUM AUTOMOBILE LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE.
To: (1) Increase the minimum amount of financial responsibility coverage required for motor vehicles to one hundred thousand dollars for any one person and three hundred thousand dollars for more than one person, on account of any accident; and (2) require that any automobile liability insurance policy contain not less than five thousand dollars in medical payment coverage, provided such medical payment coverage may be waived if the policyholder provides proof of health insurance coverage.
