AN ACT PROHIBITING CERTAIN HEALTH CARRIERS FROM REQUIRING STEP THERAPY FOR PRESCRIPTION DRUGS PRESCRIBED TO TREAT MENTAL OR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONDITIONS.
To provide that health carriers delivering, issuing, renewing, amending or continuing certain individual and group health insurance policies and contracts in this state shall not require the use of step therapy for prescription drugs prescribed to treat behavioral health conditions.
