Substitute for Raised H.B. No. 5483

AN ACT ESTABLISHING AND TRANSFERRING VARIOUS FUNCTIONS TO A DIVISION OF FIRE SERVICES ADMINISTRATION WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES AND PUBLIC PROTECTION, REVISING THE POWERS AND COMPOSITION OF THE COMMISSION ON FIRE PREVENTION AND CONTROL AND ESTABLISHING A WORKING GROUP.

To (1) establish a Division of Fire Services Administration within the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, (2) transfer the functions of the Office of the State Fire Administrator, the Office of the State Fire Marshal and the Office of Education and Data Administration within the Department of Administrative Services to the division, and (3) revise the powers and duties of the Commission on Fire Prevention and Control, and revise the membership of the commission.
