White House Conference on Aging
The State Department on Aging and the legislature's Committee on Aging will be holding a public forum and listening session to provide input for the White House Conference on Aging (WHCOA). The forum will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at 11AM, in Room 2A. The program will consist of invited speakers followed by public comment.
The WHCOA has provided four topic areas for this year's national conference: retirement security, healthy aging, long-term services and support, and elder justice. Discussion and comments regarding these topics will generate ideas, innovations, and momentum as we look ahead to issues that will help shape the landscape for older Americans for the next decade. Topic discussion and comments will be compiled and submitted to the WHCOA Regional Forum, being held on May 28th, 2015, in Boston.
