"AN ACT CONCERNING CHEMICALS OF CONCERN TO CHILDREN. "

In line 1, before "Not" insert "(a)"

After line 34, insert the following:

"(b) Not later than November 15, 2012, the Commissioner of Public Health shall notify each manufacturer of a product that contains a chemical that the commissioner intends to identify as a chemical of concern to children, in accordance with subdivision (1) of subsection (a) of this section. Not less than ten days prior to submission of the commissioner's report, described in subsection (a) of this section, the commissioner shall provide each such manufacturer the opportunity to testify at a public hearing concerning the chemicals to be identified in the commissioner's report. "
