Explanation
There is a potential cost to the Department of Public Health (DPH) of less than $200, 000 in FY 13 to complete an analysis, by 1/15/13 and within available appropriations, of the impact to manufacturers that may result from a ban or limitation of the use of chemicals identified as of concern to children. Neither DPH nor the agencies they are consulting with have expertise in this area of analysis. If DPH were to implement the amendment, it is anticipated to incur a cost of less than $200, 000 in FY 13 associated with consultant expenses.
