AN ACT CONCERNING THE BUREAU OF REHABILITATIVE SERVICES AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROVISIONS OF THE BUDGET CONCERNING HUMAN SERVICES AND PUBLIC HEALTH.
LCO No.: 7266
OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment strikes all references to the Commission on the Deaf and Hearing Impaired and the Board of Education Services for the Blind in the underlying bill. The fiscal impact is unclear since the funding and positions associated with these agencies are transferred to the Bureau of Rehabilitative Services in P.A. 11-6 (AAC the Budget for the Biennium Ending June 30, 2013, and Other Provisions Relating to Revenue) .
The preceding Fiscal Impact statement is prepared for the benefit of the members of the General Assembly, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation and does not represent the intent of the General Assembly or either chamber thereof for any purpose. In general, fiscal impacts are based upon a variety of informational sources, including the analyst's professional knowledge. Whenever applicable, agency data is consulted as part of the analysis, however final products do not necessarily reflect an assessment from any specific department.
