OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment requires the Comptroller to issue an annual financial condition statement for the partnership plan established by the underlying bill. It is anticipated the Office of the State Comptroller will incur additional administrative costs in order to accomplish this requirement, and it is unknown to what extent the amendment's provision will result in the increased use of contracted accounting and actuarial services. The provision is effective as of February 1, 2012, any fiscal impact would not be incurred until FY 12.
