AN ACT PROHIBITING CERTAIN RETAIL STORES SELLING EXTENDED AMMUNITION CLIPS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a retail store, whose principal trade or business is the retail sale of goods other than firearms and ammunition, from selling high capacity magazines for semi-automatic firearms.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce gun violence by prohibiting the sale by retail stores other than firearm stores of high capacity magazines.
