Meeting Minutes

March 14, 2005

Following Public Hearing in Room 2A

Committee Members Present –

Sen. Coleman, Sen. Harris, Sen. Roraback, Sen. Stillman, Sen. Crisco, Rep. Wallace, Rep. Miner, Rep. Malone, Rep. Roy

Committee Members Absent –

Rep. Guerrera

Chair Wallace called the meeting to order following the public hearing.

The Chairs welcomed everyone to the committee meeting, and noted that they would be voting to approve the State Plan of Conservation and Development.

Chair Wallace asked for a motion to Approve the State Plan of Conservation and Development with the Office of Policy and Management’s recommendations, for the 2004 – 2009 plan.

So moved by Sen. Coleman and seconded by Rep. Roy.

Sen. Roraback motioned to amend the plan to include the State Map to the plan, seconded by Rep. Miner.

Rep. Wallace opposed the amendment, and that can be undertaken without the amendment.

The amendment failed in a voice vote.

Rep. Wallace asked to clerk to call roll vote to Approve the State Plan of Conservation and Development with the Office of Policy and Management’s recommendations, for the 2004 – 2009 plan.

Clerk Eric C. Stroker called the roll: nine yea, zero nay, one absent. The motion passed.

Rep. Wallace motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Sen. Coleman.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:40 pm.
