The House of Representatives was called to order at 12: 34 o'clock p. m. , Representative Becker of the 19th District in the Chair.

Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, Ann-Louise DeSorbo of East Haven, Connecticut.

The following is the prayer:

Let us pray. Lord, many hours of debate and deliberation were dedicated to the legislation that will be enacted today. Connecticut continues to mourn the loss of innocent life in the Newtown atrocity. Let us always keep their memory close in our hearts - and we pray for their families who will miss their presence. Amen.
