sHB 6505 (as amended by House “A”)*
AN ACT CONCERNING PARAMETERS FOR FEES FOR EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AT PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
This bill permits any local or regional board of education to develop a student activity fee exemption policy for students who demonstrate an inability to pay the fee for participating in an extracurricular activity. The bill requires that anyone who misrepresents his or her financial status to avoid paying an activity fee to pay the full fee.
The bill also makes technical changes.
