"AN ACT CONCERNING THE PALLIATIVE USE OF MARIJUANA. "
In line 75, strike "Department of Consumer Protection" and insert "Department of Public Health" in lieu thereof
In line 76, strike "14" and insert "501" in lieu thereof
Strike subdivision (2) of subsection (c) of section 14 in its entirety and renumber the remaining subdivisions and internal references accordingly
After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:
"Sec. 501. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2012) (a) The Commissioner of Public Health shall adopt regulations, in accordance with chapter 54 of the general statutes, to implement the provisions of subdivision (2) of subsection (a) of section 2 of this act. At a minimum, such regulations shall define the protocols for determining the amount of usable marijuana necessary to constitute an adequate supply to ensure uninterrupted availability for a period of one month, including topical treatments.
(b) The commissioner shall submit regulations pursuant to subsection (a) of this section to the standing legislative regulation review committee not later than July 1, 2013. "
