"AN ACT CONCERNING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE COORDINATING ADVISORY BOARD TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES AND PUBLIC PROTECTION. "

After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. (NEW) (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection shall not cause the closure or consolidation of any state police barracks unless the General Assembly has, prior to such closure or consolidation, approved such action by a majority vote of each house. "


This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
