Explanation

A cost of up to $200, 000 to the Department of Public Health (DPH) in FY 13 is anticipated for DPH to adopt regulations defining protocols¹ to determine the amount of marijuana that constitutes “an adequate supply” not later than 7/1/13. DPH staff does not have the expertise necessary to complete this requirement without consultants and would incur consultant expenses estimated at up to $200, 000.
