Explanation
The amendment strikes Section 4 of the underlying bill and its associated fiscal impact of less than $5, 000 per district. Instead, the amendment requires the State Department of Education to make materials related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of automatic external defibrillators available to districts that chose to implement the training. This is not anticipated to result in an additional cost.
