After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. (NEW) (Effective from passage) When a death certificate is filed with a registrar of vital statistics in any town, the registrar shall notify the town clerk of the town in which such deceased person resided of such death. The town clerk shall notify the registrars of voters for such town of such death. If such deceased person's name is included on any registry list or enrollment list of such town, the registrars of voters shall immediately remove such person's name from the list and notify the Secretary of the State of such removal to ensure that such name is removed from the state-wide centralized voter registration system, as defined in section 9-50b of the general statutes. "

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
