AN ACT CONCERNING FIRE PREVENTION CODE REGULATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. Section 6 of public act 10-54 is repealed. (Effective from passage)
Sec. 2. (Effective from passage) Sections 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 17, 19, 23 and 24 of public act 09-177 shall take effect January 1, 2013.
Sec. 3. (Effective from passage) Section 7 of public act 09-177, as amended by sections 1 and 6 of public act 10-54, section 8 of public act 09-177, as amended by sections 2 and 6 of public act 10-54, sections 12, 14 and 15 of public act 09-177, as amended by section 6 of public act 10-54, section 18 of public act 09-177, as amended by sections 4 and 6 of public act 10-54, and sections 20, 21 and 22 of public act 09-177, as amended by section 6 of public act 10-54, shall take effect on (1) January 1, 2015, or (2) on the effective date of regulations adopted pursuant to section 29-291a of the general statutes to implement the provisions of section 29-317 of the general statutes, as amended by section 7 of public act 09-177 and sections 1 and 6 of public act 10-54, section 29-320 of the general statutes, as amended by section 8 of public act 09-177 and sections 2 and 6 of public act 10-54, section 29-329 of the general statutes, as amended by section 12 of public act 09-177 and section 6 of public act 10-54, section 29-331 of the general statutes, as amended by section 14 of public act 09-177 and section 6 of public act 10-54, section 29-337 of the general statutes, as amended by section 15 of public act 09-177 and section 6 of public act 10-54, and section 29-367 of the general statutes, as amended by section 18 of public act 09-177 and sections 4 and 6 of public act 10-54, whichever is earlier.
Sec. 4. Section 25 of public act 09-177, as amended by section 6 of public act 10-54, is repealed. (Effective from passage)
Sec. 5. Sections 29-316, 29-332, 29-339 and 29-358 of the general statutes are repealed. (Effective January 1, 2013)
Sec. 6. Sections 29-321, 29-325 to 29-328, inclusive, 29-333 to 29-335, inclusive, 29-336, 29-338, 29-340, 29-341, 29-368 to 29-370, inclusive, of the general statutes are repealed. (Effective January 1, 2015, or on the effective date of regulations adopted pursuant to section 29-291a of the general statutes to implement the provisions of section 29-317 of the general statutes, as amended by section 7 of public act 09-177 and sections 1 and 6 of public act 10-54, section 29-320 of the general statutes, as amended by section 8 of public act 09-177 and sections 2 and 6 of public act 10-54, section 29-329 of the general statutes, as amended by section 12 of public act 09-177 and section 6 of public act 10-54, section 29-331 of the general statutes, as amended by section 14 of public act 09-177 and section 6 of public act 10-54, section 29-337 of the general statutes, as amended by section 15 of public act 09-177 and section 6 of public act 10-54, and section 29-367 of the general statutes, as amended by section 18 of public act 09-177 and sections 4 and 6 of public act 10-54, whichever is earlier)
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||

Statement of Purpose:
To delay the scheduled effective date for the revision and repeal of certain statutes dependent upon the adoption of fire prevention regulations.
