Explanation

The bill codifies current practice of the Office of Statewide Emergency Telecommunication (OSET). OSET is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Public Safety Data Network as a stipulation of a $93. 8 million federal grant. The annual maintenance of the network is included in the OSET budget. The annual maintenance cost for the network is $4. 0 million.

There are no costs anticipated for oversight of the network.
