"AN ACT CONCERNING HIGHWAY SAFETY, STATE FACILITY TRAFFIC AUTHORITIES, MUNICIPAL BUILDING DEMOLITION, STATE TRAFFIC COMMISSION CERTIFICATES, AT GRADE CROSSINGS, THE NAMING OF ROADS AND BRIDGES IN HONOR OR IN MEMORY OF PERSONS AND ORGANIZATIONS, AND A TRAIN STATION IN NIANTIC. "
After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:
"Sec. 501. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2011) Any state or municipal law enforcement official who stops a truck that is being operated on any highway or portion of a highway on which through truck traffic is prohibited may request from the operator of such truck documentation that sets forth the destination of such truck within the municipality in which such truck is stopped. Any such operator who fails to produce such documentation shall have committed an infraction. "
