Explanation
The amendment increases the per pupil reimbursement amount for resident students attending the Edison Magnet School in Meriden from $3, 833 to $6, 730 (an increase of $2, 897) , permanently. It is anticipated that in FY 12 and FY 13 there will be 600 Meriden students attending Edison, resulting in an additional cost of $1, 738, 200 to the state magnet school account.
