Explanation
The amendment establishes a task force to study the feasibility of enacting legislation to permit the palliative use of marijuana in Connecticut. Agencies would incur minimal costs, estimated to be less than $5, 000, associated with mileage reimbursement of 51 cents per mile for legislators and agency staff (who seek such reimbursement) participating on the task force.
