AN ACT CONCERNING THE PENALTY FOR CERTAIN NONVIOLENT DRUG OFFENSES.
AMENDMENT
LCO No.: 8364
File Copy No.: 638
Senate Calendar No.: 396
OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment reduces the amount of marijuana, from one-half ounce to one-fourth ounce, that would be subject to a reduced fine identified in the underlying bill as amended. This change is not expected to reduce the number of fines issued for this offense, and as a result will not alter the revenue loss indentified in the fiscal note for the bill as amended.
