You asked for information on the location of hypermarkets in Connecticut that also sell gasoline.
SUMMARY
According to Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary, a hypermarket is a very large store that carries products found in a supermarket as well as merchandise commonly found in department stores (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hypermarket). The term commonly refers to retailers with high-volume sales.
Based on a list of gasoline retailers registered with the Department of Consumer Protection (DCP), we were able to compile a list of 33 hypermarkets that also sell gasoline. Not included on the list is a retailer expected to open in Newington in May 2009 nor any gasoline retailer located within the Indian Tribal Nation. Table 1 shows the list of hypermarkets. Table 2 is a map of the locations based on the list.
