AN ACT CONCERNING BLOOD DONATION BY MINORS.
This bill allows 16-year-olds to donate blood without the written authorization of a parent or guardian for purposes of a voluntary blood donation program. Under current law, an individual must be at least 17 years old to donate blood without parental consent.
