"AN ACT CONCERNING THE PALLIATIVE USE OF MARIJUANA. "

After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2007) The provisions of sections 1 to 10, inclusive, of this act shall not apply on and after the date that the delivery system for medical marijuana, known as Sativex, is approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration. "
