"AN ACT CONCERNING THE PALLIATIVE USE OF MARIJUANA. "
In line 2, after "inclusive," insert "and 501"
After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:
"Sec. 501. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2007) Each qualifying patient who is issued a written certification for the palliative use of marijuana under subdivision (2) of subsection (a) of section 2 of this act shall register with the police department of the municipality in which such qualifying patient resides not later than five business days after the issuance of such written certification, and every six months thereafter for as long as such qualifying patient holds a valid written certification for the palliative use of marijuana. Such qualifying patient shall provide the police department with a copy of such written certification, the address of such qualifying patient and the name of the primary caregiver of such qualifying patient. "
