"AN ACT CONCERNING THE PALLIATIVE USE OF MARIJUANA. "

After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. (NEW) The Commissioner of Public Health shall establish and administer a palliative marijuana patient registry. Each qualifying patient who is issued a written certification for the palliative use of marijuana under subdivision (2) of subsection (a) of section 2 of this act shall register with the Department of Public Health and the department shall provide such qualified patient with an identification card. "
