AN ACT CONCERNING THE PALLIATIVE USE OF MARIJUANA.
AMENDMENT
LCO No.: 8279
File Copy No.: 878
House Calendar No.: 348
Senate Calendar No.: 633
OFA Fiscal Note
The amendment requires the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to study the impact of legalizing palliative marijuana in the state of Colorado. DPS must submit a report to the General Assembly on or before February 1, 2008. It is anticipated that the requirements will result in a minimal cost to DPS associated with additional overtime, or the need to hire an outside consultant to assist with the study.
The preceding Fiscal Impact statement is prepared for the benefit of the members of the General Assembly, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation and does not represent the intent of the General Assembly or either chamber thereof for any purpose.
