AN ACT CONCERNING THE REPORTING OF THE SUSPECTED SEXUAL ASSAULT OF MINORS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require abortion clinics to determine whether a person seeking an abortion is under eighteen years of age and, if so, to report that fact to the local law enforcement agency which shall investigate whether a sexual assault has occurred.

Statement of Purpose:

To require abortion clinics to report suspected rape cases to local law enforcement agencies.
