An Act Concerning Notary Public Fees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. Section 3-95 of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:
The fee for any act performed by a notary public in accordance with the provisions of the general statutes shall not exceed [two] five dollars plus an additional [twenty-five] thirty-five cents for each mile of travel.
Sec. 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2000.
