An Act Concerning Investigations By The Judicial Selection Commission.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 51-44a of the general statutes, as amended by section 2 of public act 99-267, is amended by adding subsection (n) as follows:
(NEW) (n) The commission shall have the power to enter into such contractual agreements as may be necessary for the discharge of its duties concerning the investigation of candidates seeking appointment to a judicial position and incumbent judges seeking reappointment to the same court or appointment to a different court, within the limits of appropriated funds and in accordance with established procedures.
