Substitute Senate Bill No. 428
An Act Concerning The Inspection Of Taxicabs.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Subsection (b) of section 13b-99 of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:
(b) Each such taxicab shall be inspected, semiannually, by the Department of Motor Vehicles, by the contractor that operates the system of official emissions inspection stations or by a repairer or limited repairer licensed and authorized by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles to perform such inspections. The commissioner shall set a fee of twenty dollars for [such an] each inspection.
